The university exhibition Lina Bo Bardi: Enseignements Partages was the result of an investigation into the work of the architect, carried out by a group of researchers from the University of Rome Sapienza in collaboration with the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville.

In Lina Bo Bardi: Enseignements Partagés, curators Alessandra Criconia (Sapienza) and Elizabeth Essaïan (ENSA) dealt with Lina Bo Bardi’s production in its various professional fronts from a multiplicity of approaches. Counting on a diverse and broad multidisciplinary team, the exhibition presented cross views of architects, historians, artists and architecture and design students stimulated by iconographic material referring to the architect’s production and life.

The academic exhibition presented the production of students and collaborators whose research on the work of Lina Bo Bardi was carried out in a practical way. That is, from imagery references, the investigation of the most representative projects of the architect took place through the production of objects and models, which were presented in the exhibition. This experience constituted a kind of study in reverse movement: work and research in architecture were approached as a practice of designing and building models, without resorting to the need for theories and interpretive lines of architects’ thinking.
